Still not resolved. I did narrow down the issue furthur however. In my case
it seems to be related to Apays. If I delete the apays and turn off the
downloading for the accounts then re-enable downloading everything works
fine. As soon as I transmit a new APAY it begins having the problem again.

Did you find a resolution to this issue, I'm having the same problem with my
bank accounts. Credit card and brokerage amounts are updating correctly.

Well, good question--however, I think it's worth
posting "errors & fixes." A LOT of folks have errors
related to 'account updates' and this is one that seems
common enough. But, just trying to help...


Clearly, Microsoft isn't posting anything on their
knowledgebase; so, they have a two-fold problem: crappy
software, crappy support.

Please add to UNOFFICIAL FAQ:

to resolve tuck on "update in progress" ...

1. click on 'update now'
2. uncheck all except the very top (Microsoft money,
stocks quotes, etc)
3. click update

this will cause the "update in progress" to change
to "update unsuccessful"

You can now update the rest of your accounts.
