| You are correct. It does not appear that you have the option of selectively pulling accounts from a financial institution. Appears to be an all or nothing kind of deal. -- ----------- Joe Guidera jguidera[at]msn.com.remove "Michael" <anonymous[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:2af001c4ad43$7f4997c0$a601280a[at]phx.gbl... - quote - > With Microsoft Money 2004 I was able to update the online > services for a particular financial institution > manually. | With Microsoft Money 2004 I was able to update the online services for a particular financial institution manually. After making this update money showed a list of all the accounts with that financial institution and asked you to assign them to accounts in your Microsoft Money file, create a new account, or skip that account. I keep separate Microsoft Money files for my business accounts and a separate file or my private accounts even though these accounts are all kept at the same institution. This was no problem with Microsoft Money 2004 because I could select which accounts I wanted to provide online services for individually. With Microsoft Money 2005 it does not appear that is possible anymore to select which accounts at a particular financial institution one wants to manage online. Money 2005 automatically goes out the financial institution and gets a list of all accounts that can be accessed online (how and when Microsoft Money 2005 does this is not entirely clear to me) and adds them automatically to the Microsoft Money file. This is a problem with my method of using separate Microsoft Money files for personal and business accounts. Does anyone have any suggestions how to solve this problem? Can I just delete the accounts for the Microsoft Money file that I do not want accessed through that file? Any suggestions or explanations how Money 2005 manages online capabilities for particular financial institution and how I can selectively select which accounts I want Microsoft Money to manage would be appreciated. |
