M04 will not open the M05 data file, if that's what you mean.

See http://umpmfaq.info/faqdb.php?q=84 for more info.

In the same folder as your Money file. You could do Start-> Search
for *.m12 if you do not find the file readily.

Don't know if this applies, but

You can't open the same data file Money 2005 used with 2004. You'll need to
go back to the backup data file that 2005 created when you first installed
it. 2005 should have created a file named "my money.m12" or something
similar. (replace "my money" with the name you gave your data file. You'll
have to re-enter all the data you've entered since installing 2005.

Hope this helps!

When I uninstalled 05 and tried to run 04, I get past the
log in/password screen, then an error message asking me to
Report My Error to Microsoft occurs. I've tried numerous
times, but keep getting this error message when I try and
run 04.

Default Return to MM 2004

I downloaded the trial version of MM 05. I don't like it.
I tried to uninstall it and go back to MM 04 but I keep
getting an error message. Is it possible to go back?
