| Dude- I'm in the same boat. Upgraded from 2002, tried about 6 billion times to install 2005 on XP HE. I'm jumping ship. My 45 minute tech support phone call bore zero fruit. Quicken here I come. | No, it is "Unable to install required components. Try again later." I am running WinXP Home Edition but couldn't think that would be the problem. I've tried the new admin account trick and even: "tried removing all traces of Money from your machine? (http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/102.aspx)" Haven't had any luck. Even copied the contents of the CD to the hard drive and tried to install from there but no good. Was able to install on completely different computer with WinXP Pro but I don't want it there because it is a company owned laptop and I need it on my desktop. If I can't get it fixed I will have to return it and get quicken... Might also be worth creating a new administrator account and trying the install from there. | Must be a different problem with mine. Disabled AV, but no luck. Here is the exact error message: Setup was unable to install some of the components needed to run Money.
