| Thanks for the tip Cal. I tried it and it still doesn't work. Any other suggestions would be apreciated. | In my first rant ("I'm about to toss Money completely.") I fumed about how I am dissatisfied with Money. The fact was mainly that I could download transactions but I could not accept them into my register. I tried all of the recommended steps from Microsoft (about 5 possible solutions) and not one of them worked. I supposed the 6th from MS will be: 1) Print a report of all your transactions for all accounts 2) delete all your accounts 3) setup online access and download position data 4) Type in all your historical transaction manually and if that doesn't work, reboot the system! All kidding aside, I am not sure what I did, but I actually got it to work with Fidelity after my first rant. It worked ONCE. Now it won't download ANY transactions even though there is a queue of them waiting to be pulled down (Quicken downloads them however). And for your information, all my accounts are set up for online access (not MSN/Passport however). So I am now wondering, does this possibly have anything to do with XP SP2? Just a thought. I am really po'd with this product and definately have no plans whatsoever to upgrade to 2005. BUT I am willing to give it one more try since I have spent many, many hours categorizing my transactions over that several years I have used Money. For those of you who have no problems download transactions, great! But don't get a false sense of security. I too have had no problems until recently. Are there any Fidelity users out there having the same problem. Could this be a Fidelity issue. Microsoft MVP's! HELP! Thanks, K |
