They are handy and more reliable. That does not mean that you should> backup? New computers don't have floppies anymore. rely on a single one. Rotate between at least two in case one fails. Picture a power surge during a nearby lightning strike. The USB flash stick could fry. They can fail to the extent that you need to reformat from doing things in the wrong order. They are really good, but not perfect. They are much better than floppies. |

| backup to a flashcard?? Yes, you can backup to a flash card. I do b/c I need 2 floppies. I got a 128MB flash card for free.
