Yes. Money installed into "\Program Files\Microsoft Money 2005".> maintaining Money 2004? Money 2004 installed into a different place continues to work. You would want to make a copy of your Money file to perhaps Tom04.mny before doing the Money 2005 install. Money 2005 will probably convert your current file. Open Tom04.mny one with Money 2004 using File-> Open later. Two versions of Money cannot be open at the same time by the same user. |

| You should be able to. You can't run then both simultaneously, but close 04 and start 05 instead. Probably (untested) you'll need to install 04 first then 05, and 05 will grab the handler for online imports and for .MNY files. You;ll need to have separate files for each one and make sure you load up the correct file with the correct version of Money -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | Is there a way to install and use Money 2005 while still maintaining Money 2004? Stated differently, can both versions be operational on the same PC at the same time? If so, this would allow a user to 'test drive' Money 2005 without the risk of removing Money 2004. |
