Cal, I've looked in *RQ.txt log files (the logs of what is send from M
to the FI), and have seen usernames and login ids, unencrypted. Haven't
checked recently, though.

I don't think there is password data in *RQ.txt, and I am sure there
is no password data in *RS.txt. There are account numbers and
position data. The account numbers could be edited to 0000000s.

There's a way to log and look at what was downloaded. Search on here
for 'Connect' and Ctrl-Shift. (Holding down Ctrl-Shift when doing
Connect, produces a plain text log file of the download.)

The FIs tech support should know this, MS documents it for them. One
note of caution: I would not send these log files through unencrypted
email, nor save them on a work computer, as there's password and account
id information in there that can be used by people with malicious
intentions.

I agree.. I'm having that same problem now with my credit union. They claim
the vendor who they get the download ability from is in contact with
Microsoft to resolve the issue. BUT they do say that they know it is thier
issue.

I agree with Vadim though, chances are it's the bank's issue not Microsoft.

If you are using the same Money as before, most likely the bank has screwed
the configuration of the program that sends you the data. I would talk to
them, being however fully prepared that they would do whatever it takes to
blame you and your software instead of looking at theirs.
