| Another "feature" of this issue is that you can also end up at a point where you can no longer access your Billpay account through the web. The only way I can now access Billpay is to go back to 2004 and pay bills through the old version. Maybe Russ Paul-Jones with Microsoft can shed some light on this. He's the one that "helped" those who had the passport sign-in issue back in July/August. His old posts indicate his email address as russpj[at]microsoft.com. Anybody care to have a go! |

| I've been on the phone with MS Support a few times now. They say that this synchronization issue is a known issue and are working on it. They gave me no ETA though. I'm also experiencing a problem in that Bill Pay will not work for me. It won't set it up in Money 2005 at all. I am in this eternal loop. - quote - > -----Original Message----- > I Think we had this problem last year. The server end is just not > ready. | I Think we had this problem last year. The server end is just not ready. I think it took them a while last year to get it all working. I've seen several "official" release dates for the product but it's obviously at retail now so it would be nice to have this stuff working. I wish some of the MS people would post here so we could get a heads up or eta for when stuff will be working. | Yes this is pretty much the same thing that is happening to me. Could the problem be related to the size of the the money file? I have not archieved so I have data back to 1996? Just a thought. JCByte "Rob" <donttry_copeland_rob[at]hotmail.com> wrote in message news:9WY2d.64020$MQ5.33153[at]attbi_s52... I can't get synchronization to work, either. I choose local and then it "sits and spins" for a while and tells me that "updates are currently unavailable, Please try again later." Then, when I try again, it says "the information in this file doesn't match the information on the server. Restart Money and choose which copy to use..." at which point I start the same vicious circle. Is this the same problem others are seeing? I have tried to go to the MSN money site and delete my information there in order to start clean, but it won't let me. It says I need to cancel MSN Bill Pay. But, I'm not a Bill Pay user. Geez. | For me Money 2005 is nothing short of a miracle. As someone who has used Quicken for years and on occasion "tried" Money to see if it better... Money 2005 just jumps so far ahead it isn't funny? Why? Simple: ONLINE BANKING. Both my wife and I have 401k and 403b plans from small brokerages that neither Money nor Quicken ever supported. We use Citibank and only Quicken supported that and even then only with certain account types (some accounts we had to manually download files and import.) Money 2005... IT SUPPORTS FULL DOWNLOADING OF EVERYTHING! Every small brokerage: yep it is there. Every account with Citibank: yep it is there. Amazing. - quote - > -----Original Message----- > Anyone have the "sharing" feature working yet? When I go there the icon > just spins.... |
