These may not do it, but they seem worth a try. You could try resetting your IE6 settings to default even. - quote - > I CAN get in with MSN Standard and get the updated prices > just fine but I am so used to the deluxe version that is > is had to go backwards. - quote - > Thom > > -----Original Message----- > > In microsoft.public.money, Thom Kamp wrote: > > > > I am not sure this is the right forum > > > That would be microsoft.public.moneycentral > > > > but I am having > > > problems getting updats in my msn money portfolio on > the > > > internet. | All three computers run xp home w/sp2 installed. My notebook and office desktop use the same router. The notebook updates just fine but the desktop is the one with the problem. I followed all the steps in the KB article dealing with this problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times but no help. I checked the register entry and it has the correct server address. This seemed to happen shortly after applying sp2 if that helps. I did check the firewall and disabled it. Also disabled virus protection which is McAfee. I CAN get in with MSN Standard and get the updated prices just fine but I am so used to the deluxe version that is is had to go backwards. Any thoughts? Is each going thru the same router? Is that firewall Norton? You could also uninstall the MSN Deluxe portfolio and see if you can get in with the MSN standard portfolio. |

| I am not sure this is the right forum but I am having problems getting updats in my msn money portfolio on the internet. I have three computers that use this portfolio data and two out of three update without problems. After a very long time of the spinning arrow I get a yellow ! mark. I have checked the KB articles and done everything that it says to do including deleting money and reinstalling, disabling the firewall, disabling all anti virus software (as well as all other background programs that I can) and still to no avail. Any thoughts? |
