Here are a couple of ideas on this: you may be able to use the
classifications to get the results you want, since it sounds like you really
just want to see how much was spent for a number of 'family' items.
Classifications are setup under the categories area. Another idea is to use
keywords in the memo field and generate reports based on that information.
Of course, if you could track her account in Money as well, you could simply
categorize her payments to you and generate a report from those.
