Payee Rules Manager. One thing that could help a bit is Tools-> Options-> Editing-> ConfirmNewPayees will give you the option to not add a payee to the list that you are using one time only. |

| CHECK CRD PURCHASE 08/14 CHIPOTL That's what my bank, Wells Fargo, downloads into my Payee field in money for a burrito at Chipotle. The bank's online account history gives the store's full name, location and some additional transaction reference numbers but it was all cut off at the 32nd character! Why does the available space in the Payee field on the screen stretch out so much further than this meager limit? Also, the payee rules manager needs to be a little more powerful to accommodate my bank's weird payee descriptions since the date of each transaction is put in the payee field along with the payee's name. This makes each entry completely unique. So, no amount of adding new payee name variations or excluded search terms will help me to categorize all transactions with the letters CHIPOTL in the Payee field as Food: Burritos! If I could overcome these two problems my online banking experience would be so much more enjoyable, I might even buy the newest version of money! |
