No third category hierarchy. You could institute a Classificationfor Person. You can delete the classification if you find it not worthwhile. Enter "classification" into the Ask Money box of Help. - quote - > I

| You can't create a sub-sub-cartegory, but think of using a classification instead. Then you can look at your classifications and view reports based on these. The classification would be the person. -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money http://money.mvps.org Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. | Is there a way to create a third category partition? I currently have a category called 'gifts', with subcategories of 'birthday', 'christmas', etc. I use the memo field to record to whom the gift was given. Unfortunately, I cannot sort and subtotal on the memo field. My only known option is to download to excel and sort on the memo field . although I'd like to do it directly from Money. Thank you! |
