 Re: Capital gains distribution shows up as a loss in report I tried adding an entry manually, as you suggested, and that works as expected. The only difference I see is that in the error case, I downloaded the transaction from the brokerage firm. Wonder if this makes a difference. Thanks. Niranjan. I double-clicked the entry into the report and got an Edit Transaction box for Activity:"S-Term Cap Gains Dist" and a Total that was a positive number that matched the transaction I entered. Is this similar to what you have other than the showing of the negative value in the report? You might try resetting your report. |
