| You can back-create loans by setting the date on the computer backward momentarily while you do so. You should be able to schedule/enter old payments by entering a transaction with Category Loan Payment:[name of loan]. (You may have to type out Loan Payment if it is not in the pull-down.) | I am using Money 2003. I have set up a mortgage, but can get past one obstacle. I set up my checking account which has about two months worth of data in it, including two payments on my mortgage. I want to set up the mortgage loan so that I can record those two payments properly in the checking account. Can't do it because Money does not permit me to enter dates into the mortgage wizard that are dates older than today's date. I need to do this because my two transactions in the checking account probably do not have the appropriate categories and/or are not connected properly to the mortgage account. I tried saying NO to a scheduled transaction in the mortgage wizard, and setting up a scheduled transaction later, but do not know how to tell the category box to "calculate" the principal and interest amounts for each payment. How can I get past this? - Phil |
