Default Conversion from Quicken

I too am a newbie to MS Money, but I think the answer to
this part of your question is a simple one. Above your
register, there is a small "down" arrow, select that arrow
and you will see you have several options for viewing the
history of your accounts.

Hope that helps.

Note that Money 2004 will not convert Quicken 2004 files. Money
generally converts Quicken files that are older than the version of
Money. If you tried to convert Quicken 2004 with Money 2004, you
would probably want to try again with Money 2005. Did you get some
error message during conversion?

Normally it is a pretty easy process. Sometimes people have to
resort to the QIF export and import, but not often. If you have lost
a lot of data, that may be your better alternative.

Change all custom types to standard Quicken types. Any custom type
will be converted to type Mutual Fund by Money.

It is often suggested to do a Validate and a Super-validate in
Quicken before the conversion.
http://www.intuit.com/support/quicke.../win/6148.html seems to
imply that there could be a problem with that. So you might try
the conversion with and without doing that.

MS made it sound so simple. It looks like I will have to
recreate all my investment stuff. A greater question: Why
did Money only import my checking activity from the last
30 or so days? I would like to have the whole year, at
least. Does anyone have any suggestions?
