| Got the same message with NAV. I just ignored the message and the install went fine. For future reference, whenecver you install software and you see a more information button, consider it a more confusion button. -- regards, Michael Abbaticchio MS Exchange Server MVP http://www.exchangemvp.com nospam[at]abbaticchio.com "Rod" <ranchozenrodeo[at]adelphia.net> wrote in message news:72eb01c35926$0697d930$a001280a[at]phx.gbl... - quote - > I just put my brand-new Money 2004 Deluxe CD in, and this > popped up: "Money had detected that you may have the > following antivirus or firewall programs installed on your > computer: Zonealarm, Norton Antivirus. | Hi, FWIW, I disabled NAV and Zone Alarm temporarily while installing Money... as soon as the installation was complete I turned them back on. Never had a problem. --John "Rod" <ranchozenrodeo[at]adelphia.net> wrote in message news:72eb01c35926$0697d930$a001280a[at]phx.gbl... - quote - > I just put my brand-new Money 2004 Deluxe CD in, and this > popped up: "Money had detected that you may have the > following antivirus or firewall programs installed on your > computer: Zonealarm, Norton Antivirus. | I just put my brand-new Money 2004 Deluxe CD in, and this popped up: "Money had detected that you may have the following antivirus or firewall programs installed on your computer: Zonealarm, Norton Antivirus. These programs may interfere with Money setup, and can prevent you from using Money to download stock prices and other information from the Internet. If your computer has antivirus or firewall software, click More Info to learn how to setup Money and run it successfully." So I clicked More Info and got a list of completely irrelevant error messages, none of which included anything about antivirus or firewall software. There was a line that said if your problem isn't included, click. I clicked there and it took me to an equally useless site that had nothing about the failure to install due to antivirus and firewall software. Does anyone know if Money Deluxe 2004 is installable and useable with firewall and antivirus software, or do I have to open my home network and financial information to hackers to use this program? |
