How do I tell my checking account where money from a loan came from??

I recently borrowed money from my bank which was deposited directly into my
checking account. If I set up the loan I am unable to select it (from the
account drop down list) when entering the transaction into my checking
account register. I found the information about "linking a loan to an
asset" but you can only do that with an asset account, not a cash account.
I need to increase both my cash account and a new liability account and
still want Money to set up the amortization table.

(BTW, I'm using Money 2002)
