There is more than one possibly here.

There could be a problem in the download file.

Another thing that sometimes happens is that a user entered a
balance as an initial negative number. So Money thinks the account
has a surplus. As a charge is downloaded, the negative "You Owe"
heads toward zero.

Is that a possibility? Maybe not, but worth checking.

Default Credit Card Accounts show up as positives

I recently attempted to download my statements from one of
my credit card accounts. Prior to the download and import
my accounts were showing up in the red (as credit should).
After the download and import the acccounts are now
showing in the black. It is taking these values and adding
them as assets. Has anyone experienced this before? If so
is there a solution. The file is a type .ofx.
