If it says You Owe a negative amount, then an expenditure should
make the balance increase (go less negative). Money thinks you have
a credit balance, if I understand correctly.

Look at your beginning balance what it entered correctly?
Is this a checking/savings acct or a credit card acct?

I don't recognize that. How do you get there; what do you click?

At the bottom of the register, does it say "Ending Balance" or "You
Owe"?

Is the amount that follows in parentheses, or not?

Default Help

I am using Microsoft Money 2000. I am having trouble with
deposits and debits. When I enter a deposit, it subtracts
and when I enter a debit, it adds. This is leaving deficit
funds. This just started and I don't know how to correct
it. When I open a new account, it works properly. Did I do
something to cause this and if so, how can I corect it?
Thanks
