Yep, I agree. I like it but why so proprietory - I think it would be handy
if you get in to the data file(s) through ODBC or at least develop some
decent APIs for it....

I don't understand all the weird secrecy from MS with Money. They tell about
their OS, Office, etc sometimes more than a year in advance. By this time we
would have so many reviews and information thrown at us, we would not to be
guessing about much of the product, but Money is different. If it is coming
out soon, it should be listed in the shop.microsoft.com in the new and
coming soon section, but it is not. If it is coming out soon, the money
pages should be updated letting us know what to expect and what is better
than Quicken, but it is not updated. I read these forums almost everyday and
rarely participate and I have been a money user for many, many years. Each
year the product does not live up to what users want and we always have to
wait until the product is released to find out much about the REAL changes
that affect us who use the product on a daily basis. It is almost like MS
does not really want to take any market share with this product. Ok, I feel
better now

Default When is Money 2005 Available

When is MS going to officially release 2005? It looks
good to me and would be a nice upgrade. I understand that
there are some prolems with integrating the new
moneycentral portfolio and 2005.
