Susan,

There was no link at the end of the message, and the KB ID seems to be
invalid. Could you please post it again? Thanks.

Default Current Month Budget doubled?

This was discussed on a previous thread. It has something
to do with deleting bills and such. There is a workaround
in Knowledge Base Aricle 31884(Link below) that has
partially worked for me in some areas.

Good luck!

You have two (2) choices.

1. Wait until Money 2005 comes out and see if it is fixed. If not fixed in
2005 perhaps it will be fixed in Money 2006.

2. Use your own God given brain and figure out a work around that will work
for YOU.

Good luck. Steve

Default Current Month Budget doubled?

I'd love to find an answer to this too as I'm having the
same problem. This is a nasty defect and makes the budget
extremely annoying to use - borderline useless.

I've tried creating a new budget several times but the
problem persists.

When I view the budget for "Last Month" it's fine, but any
time I view the "Current Month" or view the "Monthly
Budget" report I have the doubling, 150% problem for
several budget line items.

Does anyone know what the deal with this is? I've
searched all over and can't find any help.

Default Current Month Budget doubled?

I just set up a budget to see what info I could get from
it. Money grabbed most of my info from my recurring
bills/deposits. I filled in the rest.

Now when I look at the final report (after
clicking "Finish") and the combo box says "Current
Month", my budgeted income is twice what auto-complete
grabbed from my recurring bills/deposits. Some other
budgeted expenses (also pulled from my recurring stuff)
are also twice the expected amount. The manual items
show up correctly.

So I tried customizing the date range... To no avail! I
ended up with either 150% of my monthly income or 50%.
There's probably a magic number that will get me at 100%,
but then I expect my manual budget items to be at 50%
then.

Has anyone else seen this? You'd think the product
wouldn't release with a bug in such a simple user-
scenario like this.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong...?
