 Re: Unable to Open Money 2004 Post SP2 Install (RESOLUTION) Dick, I didn't think of the msxml3 voodoo either. I should know better by now but it never occurred to me in this case. Unfortunately I had already uninstalled it and then did the re-registering of the dll so I have no way of knowing if I completed to unnecessary steps. I probably should test it out but honestly, I have other things that are bigger on the plate to test than MS Money. :-) Regardless, I know the solution I provided works as it has been tested and if it helps someone then it is worth it, extra steps are not. Register the msxmll3.dll file (at the run prompt, type regsvr32 msxml3.dll) 2. Uninstall Money 200x 3. Reboot 4. Install Money 200x 5. Register the msxml3.dll file again While this multi-step process is long winded, it does work. I'm now able to get into my files with no problem and the application is running smoothly.
