| Greg I suspect MS added additional transaction record types in Mny04 because my Mny03 Dlx can not process some transaction records sent by my online broker which recently added MS Mny support and specifically mentioned Mny04 required. I decided I can live without for the time being and may consider 05 if the bleeding edge crowd seem to have good luck with 05. ![]() arthur ------ On Wed, 11 Aug 2004 06:07:40 -0700, "Greg" wrote: - quote - > Thanks for all your help. | Thanks for all your help. I downloaded Money 2004 trial and low and behold it works. So I guess it's just something that won't work with any previous versions. I'm waiting for 2005 to come out now before upgrading. Thanks again for your help. Greg - quote - > -----Original Message----- > I'm using 2004 Dlx, have no idea if it makes a difference. | I'm using 2004 Dlx, have no idea if it makes a difference. NetBank kinda comes in "stealth" mode :-) It will NOT show up as an option a'la Checkfree and MSN. It will not show up as an Online Service provider at all. Tthe clue is: when you reestablish the onlin setup, or in fact anytime you go to online setup, you will have some account listed as web dowlnload, others as direct dowload - Netbank Checking will have a status line that says Bill Pay. You can then just start a new payment, say if you do it from the check register, make sure you pick transaction type "epay" and it will go thru. | Thanks Zoli, I have tried and it doesn't work. What version of money are you using? I am on 2003 Deluxe with plans on buying the 2005 version if I can use the billpay service. I have not used a billpay service with Money before, and my only options for the billpay are MSN and Checkfree (both are not installed and ask me to "setup an online bill provider". Nothing for Netbank. I did unestablish netbank in online setup and re- establish and get nowhere. Like I said, electronic transfers work just fine. Thanks for you help! | Greg, this is the thread I started on the subject: "upgraded NETBANK supports BillPay from inside Money?" The short answer: it works. Their customer service does not have a clue. The upgrade instructions miss a critical step: make sure you do not have any Payment provider (MSN, Checkfree) connected to Money, if you do, cancle them. Then repeat the steps you already did as part of the NetBank update (re-establish the online connection for NetBank) and payments will go through Netbank, just like they used to with MSN or Chckfree. | I was wondering if anyone had luck or if it is even possible to use billpay from within money to pay bills with netbank. I've been reading on the net that some people may have gotten it to work. I called netbank and they told me only Quicken works, and they have NO plans to add MSFT Money to the list. I am able to do electronic transfers between netbank accounts from within money. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. Greg |
