| You can enter and categorize historic transactions easily. The problem will be what account to enter them and how to adjust those account balances to deal with this. Think of Money like a check register. It has a starting balance and all the transactions between then and now. Entering categorized historic transactions is no problem. The problem comes in in dteremining what the starting balance should be. You can even figure this out--you'd just need to be aware of the issue. E.g., start at the July statement, enter its ending balance as the Money Account beginning balance and enter all transactions after that statement. For any transactions entered from that statement or before, adjust the Money Account Beginning Balance accordingly. OTOH, I'm not sure you gain much by doing it besides some basis for trend-based budgeting and cashflow projection.
