| I have the exact same problem. It was a problem in Money 2004, and the exact same problem happens in Money 2005. I have confirmed that the <BALAMTsection of my downloaded .ofx file is correct, meaning that the bank is sending the correct information. It seems money just chooses to ignore it, and it's stubborn about it too, I've tried a ton of things and nothing worked. I'm a software developer and I know a bug when I see it, this is a blatant one. I'm surprised it wasn't fixed in Money 2005, from what I can see there are a lot of people out there experiencing this problem. "AM in Canada" wrote: - quote - > I have the same problem. | I have the same problem. I have 4 accounts with one Bank and 3 work fine - Bank Balance and Date of Last Download are updated, but one account never changes. The date/balance is always listed as "N/A". Since the 3 accounts are OK, I believe the bank files are fine. Love to know how to fix it. | I have tried the repair and I have verified that the bank is actually sending the current date. Yet still this date doesn't update upon inporting a file either manually or automatically. | This information should be coming from the bank, although I have seen cases where the information just freezes for no reason. You could try a repair, but I'm not hopeful on that. It might also be worth trapping the statement download and having a look in it to see whether the balance is in there. (For manual downloads outside of Money, you can find it in the temporary directory after you've downloaded, but before you select the account to match against, as a file with a name something like ~ofXXXX.tmp) -- Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money Check http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny for UK tips and fixes for MS Money. I do not respond to any unsolicited email regarding Money "Gerry" <gproy[at]cox-internet.com> wrote in message news:154501c47bc1$409d9430$a501280a[at]phx.gbl... - quote - > In my Money file, for 1 particualar account, when I > download statements from my bank and import them in to > this one account. > Then I go through and accept each particular transaction > so that in the upper left hand box, it says Items to > Review (0). > The Date in the same windows that shows when last I > downloaded a statement never updates. | In my Money file, for 1 particualar account, when I download statements from my bank and import them in to this one account. Then I go through and accept each particular transaction so that in the upper left hand box, it says Items to Review (0). The Date in the same windows that shows when last I downloaded a statement never updates. It has frozen on 7/2/2004 at 12:00AM The Balance never updates either. Just the Items to Review (0) does. Any thoughts? Thanks Gerry |
