Default Jump Drive Backup Support?

> -----Original Message-----

I am using WinXP. When I look in, say, "My Computer,"
the Jump Drive might show up as a floppy,. but in MS
Money 2002, in the "back up to floppy" function, nothing
shows in the drop down box (there is no floppy attached
to this computer). So, now what?

I am using WinXP, and even if the Jump Drive does show up
as a floppy in "My Computer," it does NOT show up as a
floppy when trying to back up in MS Money. In Money,
nothing shows up in the floppy back up field, because
this computer has no floppy drive at all.

If you use XP, the USB flash drive shows as a floppy.

If you use Win98, you need to install a driver. I don't know how
that USB flash drive will then be viewed by the operating system.

Default Jump Drive Backup Support?

I have Money 2002, and I'm trying to do my "floppy"
backup to a jump drive (one of those little "thumb sized"
USB-connected flash me memory devices). Since my new
computer has no floppy drive at all, I want to be able to
do some of my backups to this thumb drive. But Money
2002 does not recognize the device in the "floppy drive"
backup window.

Anybody know if any of the newer versions of Money
support these jump drives for a removable backup?
