Because of a lack of focus usually associated with lengthy posts and
limits on the Moderator's time, lengthy posts are not appreciated
here. To us, A "LENGTHY POST" is a post with MORE THAN A FEW
PARAGRAPHS OF NEW MATERIAL OR UNTRIMMED OLD MATERIAL.

Upon receipt of such posts my usual action is to forward them to
Co-Moderator Ed Zollars for his review. For those who don't know Ed,
he has little-to-no spare time; in fact, I have heard it said that his
email in box was "black hole of the internet". <grin
However, some lengthy posts have merit. Those who think their post
deserves attention should consider sending it to FAQ editor Tad
Borek's attention mifp_faq at pacbell dot net for possible inclusion
in the under-construction FAQ.
