So, although I am an infrequent trader, I have been impressed by BasisPro (from the Gainskeeper people) for income tax reporting purposes, it helps a lot in certain straight-forward cases. I have not used any such product as the OP refers to nor do I have near-term plans to do so, but if I was going to, Gainskeeper is the first product I would research, FWIW. -Mark Bole ------ Misc.invest.financial-plan is a moderated newsgroup where Moderators strive to keep the conversations on-topic for financial planning. | Hello all, I've been a trader for quite some time now. My question is what software or platform do you use to keep track of your trades, for P&L, % return, annualized returns, etc, etc. I used to use Microsoft Money and it did the job fairly well when I was simply trading stocks... however now that I trade a good deal of options and futures and forex, it is no longer a viable option. Does anyone have any suggestions? Personal experience or otherwise? If anyone simply uses their own personal excel setup i would be interested in hearing how that gets set up also! Any and all opinions greatly appreciated! Thank you all!! ------ Misc.invest.financial-plan is a moderated newsgroup where Moderators strive to keep the conversations on-topic for financial planning.
