Most investors use financial sites like Bloomberg, BigCharts and Yahoo
Finance for specific corporate news. All three of them have the preliminary
earning report of MOT from PR Newswire at 20:01 EST on 04 JAN 2007.

Default How to know and get a company's preliminary earnings report?

Hello all,

As I followed the drop of MOT stock today (Jan 5) due to its earmings
warning issued last night (Jan 4), especially when it went down to the
2004 low level at opening trading, I wondered how retail investors get
to know about the original version of this preliminary report? I
suppose I can get the official report issued on the official date on
the company's website or the SEC on Jan 19, but how about the
preliminary one? I've searched on Google but haven't been able to find
anything other than quotes from various websites.
Any insights? Thanks a lot!

Loan.
