Nevermind. DD just received a W-2 and it includes pay for last week;
the check is supposed to be cut tomorrow.

Default How much does LLC shield owner from obligations?

The coffee shop where my teenage daughter works just went out of
business. They still owe her for the last two weeks that she worked.
The shop was organized as an LLC. Is the owner legally obligated to pay
the former employees if the business doesn't? AFAIK, she has not
declared backruptcy.

Sorry if this is off-topic; I'm not sure if it is or not. I'm gonna
check with the state AG and the Secretary of State's office and see if
have any information about LLC's. Thanks.

Best regards,
Bob, in Minnesota
