| An acquaintance of mine filed for a Federal tax extension in April (He's due a refund), and his accountant has still not gotten around to filing his taxes. He thinks that the extension is for 6 months, making it last into October. But, I've always thought that extensions are only for 4 months -- thru August 15. Can anyone clarify how long Federal tax extensions are for? Thanks! |
