Default Re: Individual invest / loan network website

I believe you may be referring to www.prosper.com

I don't know much about it at this point.

Cheers!

Default Individual invest / loan network website

Can someone please help me find a financial web site I read about
recently. I can not find the magazine, and searching for "loan"
produces 16 million hits. Tartersauce!

It is the "E-Bay of loans" (no relation to ebay). Individuals wishing
to borrow post a loan request along with information about what it will
be used for and themselves. Individuals wishing to invest, pick
listings that sound good, and choose how much of the loan they wish to
fund. Then, when a loan request receives enough commitments to be fully
funded, the deal is sealed. The invidual makes payments to the website,
and it distributes payments to the individual loan investors.

Has anyone else heard of this website? What is the URL? (please
reply-all or email directly)

Thanks!
