You might consider going to the local library and checking out stockpicking newsletters. Generally a newsletter may have alternative portfolios for growth vs. income and reports the performance of those portfolios over time. Also there is a newsletter by Hulbert which ranks stock and mutual fund newsletters. I picked one of Hulberts top mf newsletters and have been very pleased with the results. Frank |
