I think ING is good except that they are falling way behind the
market leaders in terms of the offered rate. A site for checking
rates that I like better than bankrate.com is
http://www.money-rates.com/savings.htm.

Ditto what John Weeks said. Also, www.bankrate.com is a good
resource for shopping around for CDs and high yield bank
accounts. INGdirect(? ING something) advertises there, or
you can google for it. I haven't heard anything terrible
about ING, and lots of people here and at other newsgroups
do ask about it.

Do you know the exact date that you will need the money? If so,
you may be able to get a brokered CD or buy some corporate bonds
that mature on that date, and do a bit better. Check with your
stock broker and see what they can do.

Default 20K for two months

Hi Folks,
Appreciate any advice on where to park $20,000 for short term?
I heard Tbills or ING (this is like a bank) are good options.
