I can't make the version of Quicken I have (2002) do this, but then I
never use it so I'm not familiar with all of its capabilities. I do use
Microsoft Money, however, and this graph was easy to get (of course, I
already have the data entered).

Possibly

I just haven't set down with Quicken to se if it can
make the line graph I need... i.e. expenses vs interest
income

Have any idea if it can do that graph?

Try doing it on a piece of paper. Write down all expenses and income.

Default "Your Money or Your Life" spreadheet?

I'm not savvy at all with spreadsheets

Just read a book called "Your Money or Your Life" which
advises to track all expenses, cut costs, invest money
in interest bearing vehicles..... and the track the
income from these investments vs expenses

Does anyone know of a template I can get that does this
for me?

I'm too stupid to design it myself

Or is there a package I can buy?
