Not really sure. <G
I just had a strange though the other while in a
company meeting here at work. We are looking for a
package add on for our ERP system at work that will let
us track machine maint issues.

We were having a live demo via phone line of a software
vendors product and I was amazed at just what an ERP
system attempts to do.

So..... got to thinking if any value in software that
does such a thing on a personal level?

Basically ERP system attempts to give you a "God" view
of everything going on inside typical factory....
financials, customer relation management, resource
management, etc

Anyway.... it just occurred to me how valuable that
"might" be to an individual if one could have real time
info like that abt their personal lives.

What kinds of ERP do you want out of it? QB does an amazing amount of
stuff and is great for keeping the books on a small business. My main
beef with it is that it's cluttered up with endless offers for ancillary
Intuit services (and The World's Slowest Browser). Other than that it's
great for tracking all income/expense items, reporting on them, doing
tax forecasting, even keeping inventory. Bill of materials and supply
chain management - well probably not...but not many people need that in
a 1-2 person biz.
