Default Re: "quant" funds - place in asset allocations?

Okay, since you asked ---- PWC is a "good" ETF fund. Money is flowing into
it (that's good) and in the past three years it has out-performed the S&P
500 by a fair margin. It has an expense ratio of 0.6% a bit higher than
other ETFs. It is probably a good choice for your portfolio with the
following exception .... How will it do in the next Bear market? This ETF
follows the Dynamic Market Intellidex Index which rotates into favorable
sectors. The unknown is how well will their sector rotation combat the
ravages of the Bear? If you chose to time the market and avoid the next
Bear by selling out of the equity market, then this question is academic.

investing, and maybe this is the way out. or perhaps it is only good as a
complement to a portfolio? what do you guys think?

example: powershares dynamic market (pwc)
