On the other hand, $10/mo easily gets you several monthly
publications (ie. Kips, Money, etc).

A couple more bucks a month gets you full subscription
access to Morningstar online.

Not to mention all the free stuff - this newsgroup, about
a zillion other websites (many of which require free
registration).

$10/mo won't get you much in the way of an outside coach
custimizing his cheering for your own stuff (though for $10/mo,
I'll set up an e-mail job which will bug you daily if you like!).

But $10/mo (or a little more) gets you access to *loads* of
great data and stories and inspiration and ideas if you are
willing to take the time to read the material.

You might want to save that first month or two's $10 to buy
something like "Personal Finance for Dummies" by Eric Tyson,
though.

I don't think my kids soccer coach would even spend 10 minutes with you
for ten dollars a month. My take on things is that in almost all cases
(absent fraud), you get what you pay for, so I would bet this "coach"
is not much.

I swear by DRIPs, but you do not need a "financial coach" to learn about
them and invest in them.
Reading one or two of the several books written by Charles Carlson would be
a good start, and there are a lot of web sites that have good information.

Default financal coach?

Hello,

I was reading at www.dripyourstocks.com about a deal where you can
signup for $10 a month for a financal coach. Sounds good...

Has anyone here used a coach before, if so what did you think?

Thanks
