Roll it over to a Traditional IRA (you cannot roll it over
to a Roth). By putting it in a Traditional IRA, you will
have more flexibility when it comes to investing.

finance.yahoo.com provides a lot of history on fund
performance, for one. It's not perfect but a good quick
check tool.

Look for mutual funds having no loads and low expense
ratios. Index funds are ideal. Vanguard is a great place for
index funds and low expense ratios.

Do you have an allocation plan? For ideas, try some of the
free online tools for allocating at
http://home.earthlink.net/~elle_navorski/id4.html

Once the money is in the Traditional IRA, you can convert it
as you like to a Roth IRA, paying taxes on the conversion
amounts. Once in the Roth, and at retirement, you pay no
taxes on anything you withdraw.

Default Suggestions for a 401K or other

I finally got my 401K info on a previous job that I held for two years
starting in 1997. I had "lost" the account due to laziness, moving,
etc. Anyway, I have about $10k in there, and was wondering what you
would suggest. This money would be for retirement (I'm 37).

Here's the available funds:
HARBOR CAPITAL APPRECIATION FD
GOLDMAN SACHS LARGE CAP VALUE
EXCELSIOR VALUE & RESTRUCT. FD
CALAMOS GROWTH FUND
JANUS MID CAP VALUE INVESTOR
VANGUARD STRATEGIC EQUITY FUND
BARON SMALL CAP FUND
KEELY SMALL CAP VALUE FUND
ROYCE PENNSYLVANIA MUTUAL FUND
HARBOR INTERNATIONAL FUND
VANGUARD LIFESTRATEGY GROWTH
VANGUARD LIFESTRATEGY MOD GRTH
VANG. LIFESTRATEGY CONS GROWTH
VANGUARD LIFESTRATEGY INCOME
PIMCO TOTAL RETURN FUND
PIMCO SHORT TERM BOND FUND
GOLDMAN SACHS PRIME OBLIGATION

I only have a history of performance since 11/30/05 since they changed
providers at that time, and I have no access to previous history.
Here's the history:

HARBOR CAPITAL APPRECIATION FD
11/30/2005-12/31/2005 -0.93 % $-55.88
01/01/2006-03/21/2006 0.79 % $ 48.88

EXCELSIOR VALUE & RESTRUCT. FD
11/30/2005-12/31/2005 0.26 % $ 0.02
01/01/2006-03/21/2006 5.87 % $ 0.47

HARBOR INTERNATIONAL FUND
11/30/2005-12/31/2005 3.71 % $ 124.61
01/01/2006-03/21/2006 11.72 % $ 415.

Fund Price Units Current Election % Value Rate Of Return
HARBOR CAPITAL APPRECIATION FD $33.13 187.135 0 $6,199.77
EXCELSIOR VALUE & RESTRUCT. FD $49.03 0.173 0 $8.49
HARBOR INTERNATIONAL FUND $55.42 71.451 0 $3,959.82

Should I keep the 401K where it's at, or roll it over into a Roth, or
something else?

TIA
