Default Re: How to find best fixed annuity rates for NY?

I would have a look at Vanguard which usually has low fees. I have found
that most of the fixed annunities are about the same except for the fees.
You are basically taking a small return for it to be guaranteed. It is
basically an insurance policy.

There are any number of these. Try www.immediateannuities.com, which
seems to focus on fixed annuities, which provide guaranteed monthly
income. Your question about past performance makes me think you may be
talking about variable annuities, which do not provide guaranteed
monthly income, but depend on market performance in the accounts you
choose.

Are there any sites where I can do a comparison of fixed annuities
available in NY? I would like to see their rates as well as past
performance. Would anyone know some of the best performing annuities
for NY? Do they all basically have the same, or similar rates?
