Yes, you put this in your will.- quote - > Is there a way to leave the house to someone so they get the proceeds
Yes, you put this in your will.> when it is sold (still have loan on it but there is some equity in it > of course)? I highly recommend reading a book on estate planning and talking to an attorney instead of asking random people on the net for advice. Reading the book first will give you an overview of the whole process and what decisions you have to make, and the attorney will draw up the appropriate paperwork. -Sandra the cynic |

The beneficiary on an account gets the money, regardless of the (Payable On Death) to reflect the distribution in my will. Titling assets is very important. Titled assets such as bank accounts and houses are the important ones. A Trust doesn't do any good if you don't correctly title assets into it. Marriage and divorce has a way of making these things out of date. Anyone who has been putting off updating their trust should make a schedule to do it and stick to it. - quote - > Or if you leave the money to a person who is also an executor of the

Either way could be made to work, especially for small amounts of time to spend a few bucks on an attorney and have a proper will set up. Just be clear on what you want done before you go in. If this requries a trust, I'm sure the attorney will tell you. Have a happy, long life. |
