Default Re: O.T. Credit report question?

That is a good question, my educated guess is it is based upon calender
year not fiscal year.

You might want to check with the service you requested your tri-credit
report for further details on their policies.

You should be checking your credit for fraud, identity theft, etc. on a
regular basis (or outsource it if you don't have the time). Despite
popular opinion, pulling one's credit does not effect your FICO score.

Hope this helps.

"You can get a free report from each of the three national credit reporting
companies every 12 months."

One often recommended method is to request a report from a different agency
every four months. If you are married, you can do this every other month, for
each spouse.

Default O.T. Credit report question?

The free once a year credit reports from each of the three
agencies, has recently become available on the east coast, as of a few
months ago.
I understand , you are generally allowed, one free report a year
from each one.
Question? Is that one year, a physical year, january to
december, or one year from when you first request it?
I used one in october, when first became available for free,
but if I use the other two, will I automatically be entitled to gettting all
three again for free in January?
I dont intend to, but want to know for sure what the policy is,
so I can set forth my plan for accessing them in a wise and timely manner.

Much regards
