| have a question about contributing to a Roth IRA for my wife and hopefully someone here can give the answer. My wife will not earn income for 2005 and we plan to file out taxes jointly. Can I make a $4,000 Roth IRA contribution under my wife's name in addition to a $4,000 contribution under my name (total of $8,000). Our AGI will be below $160,000 for tax year 2005. The contributions will be in individual accounts of course (one for her and one for me) Thanks! |
