Sir,

I totaly disagree with you. I have an ongoing (software) business & the
best thing that ever happened was... the idea

For the main question ... : after you find the idea, forget that you
found it... concentrate on your business (whatever the costs, .)

I have been involved in a number of start-ups, some worked,
some did not. The biggest thing that I learned is that good
ideas are a dime a dozen. The ability for someone or a team
to turn an idea into a workable business is a skill that is
as rare as a passenger pigeon. Don't go looking for the idea,
go looking for the people.

Default Funding a Start-Up

How do you go about deciding if a start-up business is a good
investment? If you've invested in a small business, I'd love to know
why you did it and how it's going for you.

Just curious.

Thanks,
Dorez
