Just one addition to Will's answer. The $4000 contribution limit for 2005
does NOT include any amount you rolled over, however, the $14K 401K
contribution limit DOES include anything you contributed to the old 401K
before rolling it over.

The contribution limit for 2005 traditional IRAs is $4000. The total
contribution that you can make to all of your 401(k)s is $14,000 for
2005 ($15,000 for 2006).

Default 401k, Rollover IRA

Hi,
I have just changed my employer. I moved my 401k from previous employer
into Rollover IRA. However, I'll be starting new 401k plan with my new
employer. In this case, what is going to the max limit on rolloverIRA
and new 401k contribution ? In first place
can I contribute to rolloverIRA and new 401k plan at the same time ?
