I just got something about my BankOne IRA CD regarding the Chase merger.> your IRA. Seems like that should be illegal. | It is high, but get ready to give them another wad to close out and transfer your IRA. Seems like that should be illegal. You decide you don't like them and want to leave--they charge you to leave. | I agree, my IRA's charge $10 a year and if you have more than $1000 balance or make dedicated contributions of $25 or more a month that is waived. And you can open an account for as little as $300 or $0 and a dedicated $25 a month contribution. I can't remember what the amount is to avoid the fee -- I'm thinking around $15 - $20K. I've had my accounts with Waterhouse for years, and have been extremely happy. |
