Call your credit card company. | Jacqueline, I am afraid that you missunderstand the purpose of Disability Insurance. The Disability policy is designed to REPLACE lost income due to the disability of the person insured. Since you are NOT "employed", therefore there would be no INCOME that would need to be REPLACED in the event that you become disabled. However, having said that, I do believe that there are some companies that are willing to offer such insurance to is a "full time student" in a profession where they will someday earn large sums of money ie: Law, Medicine etc. One such company is Guardian Life. You can fill out an application [at] www.guardiandibrokerage.com Cal Lester CLU mail[at]jacquelinepassey.com wrote: - quote - > I read all the time about the importance of disability insurance, but > I haven't been able to find a company who will sell it to someone who > isn't already working -- does it exist? > Jacqueline Passey > http://www.JacquelinePassey.com/ |
