Call your credit card company. Some of them have tie-ups that
automatically charge your credit card approximately 10$ a month for
disability insurance. I had that for a while from a Citibank credit
card.

Jacqueline, I am afraid that you missunderstand the purpose of Disability Insurance.
The Disability policy is designed to REPLACE lost income due to the disability
of the person insured.
Since you are NOT "employed", therefore there would be no INCOME that would
need to be REPLACED in the event that you become disabled.

However, having said that, I do believe that there are some companies
that are willing to offer such insurance to is a "full time student" in a profession
where they will someday earn large sums of money ie: Law, Medicine etc.

One such company is Guardian Life. You can fill out an application [at]

Default Disability insurance for full-time students?

I read all the time about the importance of disability insurance, but I
haven't been able to find a company who will sell it to someone who
isn't already working -- does it exist?
