I didn't look at these, but differences might be due to the choice of
bonds that they're reporting as "T bond returns"...30-year, 10-year,
"composite", etc.

That is one of the ones I found. However, there is a large discrepancy
between that and the one I found here:

Annual returns for stocks, Treasury bonds, and Treasury bills from 1928
onward are at

See if you can find a library with a copy of Ibbotson's "Stocks, Bonds,
Bills & Inflation." www.ibbotson.com

Default Historical T-Bond Returns

I am looking for T-Bond total returns from 1926-present for a project I
am working on. I have done an exhaustive search of the web, and found
a couple of sources only. They both claim to be total return of T-Bond,
but they are drastically different. All I need is year, total return.
Anyone have a source?

Thanks
