Yes...piece of cake. You can call their 800 number, and they
can help you through the process. People move to one-stop
investing shops all the time to get stuff all on one statement.

What minimum fee? Some funds have minimum investments, but
I don't recall a minimum amount of cash that you can deposit.

Default Online Brokers - Trasfering IRAs, Funds and Stock

Hi - somewhat of a newbie question here. I currently have an IRA that I
bought directly from a mutual fund company, some other mutual funds
that I bought directly from the companies, and some stock that is held
trough another broker. I'd like to transfer my investments to an online
broker like Fidelity so I have them all in one place and can track,
invest, etc more easily. Although I plan on buying more funds in the
future, at this time I'd just like to make this transfer and set up an
automatic investment through the online broker.

So since I have an IRA, mutual funds and stock, would I need to open an
IRA account and another "general" investing account at the online
broker?

Also, since I'm transferring money to the online broker, would I have
to pay the minimum fee (i.e. $2500 for Fidelity)?

Thanks in advance.
